A Culinary Exploration

Illustrator Gina Schiappacasse approached me to bring her fashion forward tarot deck concept to life. With a modernized twist on the classic 1910 Rider-Waite-Smith version, Gina's illustrations needed to take center stage so my approach was to keep the art direction modern and minimal. The Heroine Tarot, crowdfunded successfully on Kickstarter in 2019, features oversized cards with holographic edges in a sleek black box set, accompanied by guide booklet, an enamel pin and limited edition art print. In addition to deck design, I helped with the campaign launch and created various digital & social assets.

 
 
 

ꕤ THE RESULTS

Response on social media was overwhelmingly positive since day one of the Kickstarter campaign. With over 250 backers and counting, seeing people across the world talk about your work will always be cool.
